Through a series of five photos I will be exploring the use of time through the way we used our school playgrounds. I will convey the use and the aspect of time through the processes in which we use the aparatuses.
These photos also will express the enjoyment and satisfaction 'of getting to the other side' and of playing around on the various things you find in playgrounds. The emotions you feel from seeing these photos are supported by the use of bright stark sunny lighting, clean well executed framing and the use of colour - especially the yellow colour of the structures. My figure will also show in some areas a hint of enjoyment through playing on the structures, although her movements through time are the main focus.
Whilst taking the multiple images to show the process I am focussing on the movement the figure makes and emphasises the motions through using long and short shutter speeds and sometimes a mixture of both. This will help support the general focus of time and process of movement through and on the objects in the playground.
